About Subscription

How BeatMuse subscriptions, credits and credit packs work

Last updated: October 18, 2026

How it works

Everything you create in BeatMuse uses credits. A subscription gives you a fresh batch of credits every period. A credit pack adds credits that never expire.

Subscriptions do not unlock extra features. Every feature works with credits from any source. Before you confirm, the app shows how many credits each creation will cost.

Free to start: a new install gets 1 free credit, which is enough for one song. The optional daily check-in adds 1 credit per day for up to 7 days per account. Free credits have no cash value.

Subscription Plans

Weekly

$9.99 / week

40 credits every week

Yearly Best Value

$39.99 / year

220 credits every year

Prices are in US dollars. The app and the App Store show the price in your local currency. If an introductory price is offered to you, the App Store shows it at checkout. There are no free trials.

If you subscribed to an earlier plan, you keep that plan’s allowance until you change it: Monthly gives 85 credits a month, and the earlier Yearly plan gives 160 credits a year.

Credit Packs

A credit pack is a one-time purchase. It does not renew. Pack credits never expire, and you can spend them on any creation. If you also have a subscription, the subscription’s credits are spent first.

Payment, Renewal and Cancellation

Managing or cancelling your subscription

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select BeatMuse.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.

After you cancel, you can still use your subscription credits until the end of the period you paid for. There is no partial refund for the unused part of a period.

If you subscribed on another platform, manage or cancel the subscription in that store’s account settings.

Refunds

Restore purchases

After you reinstall the app, or on another device signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases in the app. Subscriptions work on all your devices that use the same Apple Account. Family Sharing is not supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do unused subscription credits roll over?

No. Your subscription credits refill to the full amount at each renewal, and leftover credits from the previous period are not kept. Pack credits and daily check-in credits never expire.

What happens when my free credit is used?

You can keep claiming the daily check-in for its 7 days, buy a credit pack, or subscribe.

Can I make a music video without paying?

A music video costs at least 10 credits, which is more than the free credits add up to. Making a video needs a subscription or a credit pack.

What happened to AI Cover?

AI Cover was removed in version 2.5.3. Covers you already made stay playable in your Library. AI Cover is no longer part of any plan or pack.

How is my data used?

Before the app sends anything to AI services, it asks for your permission and names each company that will receive your content. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → AI data sharing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
